Deep Corrugated Sheets

Cherrit's Deep Corrugated Sheets are manufactured from top grade aluminium and stainless steel. They provide protection over insulation on tank farms, heat exchangers, acid tanks, LPG storage units, food processing plants, sewage and waste water treatment plants.

The corrugation sheets have a depth of 6-8mm and corrugation is 32mm. A standard siding corrugation, with both longitudinal edges of the sheet formed down, allows the sheets to be installed without alternating ends of the sheet.

MOISTURE BARRIER

Cherrit's 32mm Deep Corrugated Sheets are supplied with a moisture barrier which consists of 40-lb. natural kraft paper with one-mil low density polyethylene film, heat and pressure bonded to the interior surface. This moisture barrier is used to prevent moisture and corrosives, in the insulation, from coming into direct contact with the metal jacketing surface and causing galvanic or chemical corrosion.

Other moisture barrier is also available from us - Polysurlyn moisture barrier, a 3-mil co-extrusion of Dupont's surlyn and polyethylene.
